On the 11th January, all the parents who have children linked with Matumaini were invited to a meeting to involve them in some of the issues facing the centre. There were good discussions and the meeting was a success. Afterwards the families of those in the hostel took special meals to their children and spent the afternoon with them.

Ann Raikes, who is currently working at the Matumaini Centre, shares just a few of the things that she would really appreciate prayer for.
- provision for wheelchair ramps and accessible pathways around the centre.
- provision for the boys dorm to be renovated and also a place for visitors or volunteers to stay.
- wisdom and guidance in finding a way for some of the young adults to move towards independence.
- the whole team in general, to be blessed and enthused by the work they're doing.
